Post the ‘Bahubali’ franchise, SS Rajamouli is back with another star-studded period action drama – ‘RRR’.
Written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the movie features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn.
RRR is a fictitious story based on the legendary freedom fighters – Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR). While Alia plays the role of Sita, Ram Charan’s love interest onscreen, Ajay Devgn can be seen in the role of a mentor.
Set in the 1920s, ‘RRR’ is about their revolt against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad.
The movie was all set to hit theatres on January 7, 2022. However, it’s not the case anymore. Amidst the rising Covid-19 cases and theatres shutting down in many states, the makers have decided to postpone the release date of the much-awaited movie yet again.
