With multiple projects lined up in his kitty, Ajay Devgn seems to be having a busy 2022.
The actor will also be seen in the Hindi remake of the popular Tamil movie ‘Kaithi’ (2019).
Directed by Dharmendra Sharma, the Hindi version of the action-thriller has reportedly been titled ‘BHOLAA’.
The movie has gone on floors today (January 12) and will reportedly have a completely fresh take on the cop-prisoner relationship.
“While the Tamil film is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Ajay’s movie is being directed by Dharmendra and will be a completely fresh take, very different from the original Kaithi – however, keeping the core in mind of the prisoner-cop relationship. Much of the screenplay has been changed from the original.”

The official synopsis of the original reads – “Dilli, an ex-convict, endeavours to meet his daughter for the first time after leaving prison. However, his attempts are interrupted due to a drug raid planned by Inspector Bejoy.”
On the work front, Ajay has movies like ‘Maidaan’, ‘Thank God’, ‘Runway 34’ & more. The actor will make his highly-anticipated OTT debut with Disney+ Hotstar‘s upcoming web series ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness’.
