Sushmita Sen made her comeback in the entertainment industry with the web-series Aarya which gained a lot of appreciation from fans all over.
However, not many know that Sushmita was not the first choice for Aarya! Who was?
Aarya the web series was first offered to Raveena Tandon.
As per reports, a source says, “It is true. Netflix and Ram Madhvani wanted Raveena for Aarya. This was when the original script was converted from a feature film to a full-fledged web series. Kajol was to do Aarya as a feature film with Ajay Devgn as producer. Eventually the project passed on from Kajol and Devgn to Netflix. Director Ram Madhvani and Netflix were keen on Raveena Tandon to play the protagonist Aarya Sareen.”
However, Raveen declined the offer for unknown reasons and Sushmita Sen gave a brilliant performance in the series.
