Soon after this, divorce rumours of Priyanka & Nick Jonas had started doing rounds on social media.
However, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra had rubbished the separation rumours. And even Priyanka shut down the reports by dropping a mushy comment on one of Nick’s workout videos.
Recently, during an interview with Vanity Fair, PC has finally broken her silence on divorce rumours that spread like a wildfire after she changed her Instagram handle to just her first name.
Talking about it, the actress said, “It’s just a professional hazard…. Because of the noise of social media, because of the prevalence that it has in our lives, I think it seems a lot larger than it is. I think that we give it a lot more credence in real life, and I don’t think it needs that.”
“It’s a very vulnerable feeling, actually, that if I post a picture, everything that’s behind me in that picture is going to be zoomed in on, and people are going to speculate,” Priyanka stated.
According to an earlier report, this whole ‘removing name’ move has been for professional reasons allegedly as she wants to be known only as ‘Priyanka’.
