Today, 21st January 2022, marks the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s 36th birth anniversary.
The young star truly was gone too soon. Quite a gem of a person – SSR was known to be a philanthropist as well.
In 2018, Sushant had lent a helping hand to the Nagaland CM by contributing Rs 1.25 CRORES to the Nagaland flood relief fund. He had done the good deed quietly without any fanfare or publicity!
The good Samaritan had also donated a large sum to the Kerala Flood relief effort in 2018. One of his fans had wished to contribute but lacked the necessary funds to do so.
Touched by the fan’s earnestness, SSR had promised to give 1 CRORE on the fan’s behalf and indeed the star made good on his word.
