A shocking event hit the headlines recently.
Race 3 Director Remo D’Souza’s brother-in-law Jason Savio Watkins allegedly died by suicide in his Mumbai apartment on Thursday (20 January 2022)!
Jason is the brother of Remo’s wife Lizelle D’Souza. He had also been an assistant director in all of Remo’s projects.
As per Indian Express report, the 48-year old Jason had allegedly hanged himself but did not leave a suicide note behind. He has been taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.
His family allegedly informed the police officials that Jason had been suffering from depression post his mother Daina’s death. He also appeared to have some health-related issues. As of now, no foul play seems to be suspected in the death case.
Another report has updated that Jason was reportedly consuming ganja to cope with his grief and had committed suicide in a state of drug intoxication.
Remo’s wife Lizelle took to Instagram to lament her brother’s loss with some childhood photos also including her late mother. “Why? How could you do this to me? Will never forgive you.” “Am sorry Mum, I failed you”, she wrote.
