Director Samir Karnik released the classic comedy, Yamla Pagla Deewana in 2011 starring 3 Deol’s – Dharmendra, Sunny, and Bobby, and the fans enjoyed it.
Now, as the reports, the director is working on another comedy movie with Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty.
According to Pinkvilla, along with Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty, Samir Karnik’s next will feature Esha Gupta, Zayed Khan, Saurabh Shukla, and Jaaveed Jaaferi in lead.
A source says, “It’s an out and out comedy set in North India. Both Sanjay and Suniel will be seen playing the role of a Punjabi whereas the details of Esha Gupta, Zayed Khan, Saurabh Shukla and Jaaved Jaaferi’s characters been kept under wraps for now.”
“Sanjay Dutt too is one of the producers. It will be made by Sanjay Dutt, Viacom 18 in association with multiple other producers. The pre-production work is in progress and the makers intend to take the film on floors by summer 2022. They will be shooting it at real locations of Punjab. The shooting spots are in the process of being locked,” the source added.
Like Yamla Pagla Deewana, even this movie is a situational comedy. The movie is produced by Viacom 18.
