Ajay Devgn is all set to make his highly-anticipated OTT debut with Disney+ Hotstar‘s upcoming series ‘Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness’.
Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, the gritty crime-thriller series is said to be the official remake of the popular British show ‘Luther’.
Ajay Devgn playes the titular role of a fierce cop – DCP Rudra Veer Singh, and has reportedly charged a whopping amount of Rs 125 CRORES for his debut series.
The show also features Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashish Vidyarthi amongst others in pivotal roles. Esha plays the role of Rudra’s wife, while Raashi essays the role of a genuis sociopath named Aliyah in this 6-episode series.
On Saturday, the makers have finally dropped the much-anticipated trailer of ‘Rudra’.
While sharing the trailer on Instagram, Ajay wrote, “The line between light and the darkness… that’s where I live. #Rudra coming soon on @disneyplushotstar”
