The demise of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has left the entire country mourning.
Late Lata Mangeshkar Ji – the Nightingale of India – has passed away today at the age of 92 after suffering a multi-organ failure last night.
Lata Mangeshkar started her singing career at the tender age of 13 in 1942 and sang over 36,000 songs to her credit in 36 different Indian languages.
In her 8-decade-long singing career, Lata ji had won numerous awards including National Awards, Bharat Ratna, Filmfare Awards, Dada Saheb Phalke and many more.
