1) Rang De Basanti
Shahid Kapoor was first offered the role of Karan Singhania / Bhagat Singh which eventually went to Siddharth.
“I regret not doing the film. They wanted me to play the role of Siddharth. I’d cried while reading the script and loved it, but unfortunately couldn’t make time for it,” he had revealed in an interview.
2) Rockstar
The iconic Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar as well as Jab We Met was offered by Imtiaz Ali to Shahid Kapoor to choose from. He decided to work on the rom-com instead.
