1. Sushmita Sen
Former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen created headlines when she decided to adopt a baby girl, Renee, in 2000. She was merely 25 years old back then. Later in 2010, she adopted another baby girl – Alisah. She single-handedly raised her two daughters and we are in awe of her.

2. Karisma Kapoor
The ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ actress Karisma Kapoor was married to industrialist Sanjay Kapur and gave birth to her first child – Samaira (daughter) in 2005 and second born Kiaan (son) in 2010.
In 2014, the duo had a controversial divorce and Karisma retained full custody of her kids.
