As per previous reports, Salman Khan was supposed to star in a biopic on Indian spy, Ravindra Kaushik aka Black Tiger.
Director Raj Kumar Gupta (of Raid and No One Killed Jessica fame) was going to helm this action thriller film.
It was also rumoured that Khan was going to co-produce this biopic as well. But as per Peeping Moon’s newest report, the project has been called off.
“Raj Kumar Gupta has called off the Black Tiger project. The rights that he had bought five years ago from his family have expired now. And the filmmaker has not renewed it as he still doesn’t see the film happening anytime soon,” a source revealed.
Moreover, since Salman is already playing a spy in the YRF Tiger franchise, he was allegedly cautious about taking up a similar role.

He’s doing Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif, which will be out in theatres on 21st April 2023. Salman also has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with Pooja Hegde.
