Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, is based on the life of the social worker Vijay Barse – the founder of NGO Slum Soccer.
Directed by Nagraj Manjule (Sairat fame), the biographical sports-drama was released in theatres on March 4, 2022.
Jhund also features Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru amongst others in pivotal roles.
Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Vijay Barse who built the organisation, NGO Slum Soccer, to uplift underprivileged children through football!
Jhund 1 Week Box Office Collection:
Despite being a Big B film, Jhund opened to a slow start at the box office. According to reports, the movie is said to have collected a total amount of Rs 10.50 crores at the box office in its first week.
