Salman Khan will make a special appearance in South superstar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming Telugu movie – Godfather.
The movie marks Salman’s debut in the South film industry.
‘Godfather’ is the Telugu remake of the 2019 Malayalam political action-thriller ‘Lucifer’, which starred Mohanlal in the lead.
On Wednesday (March 16), megastar Chiranjeevi welcomed Salman on board and wrote a sweet message for him. The two stars have started shooting together at ND Studios in Karjat.
Salman Khan’s Fee For Godfather:
The Bhaijaan of Bollywood is also known for his golden heart. As Pinkvilla reported, the actor has supposedly rejected a handsome amount of fee for his cameo in the Chiranjeevi-starrer. Yes, Salman has NOT charged a single penny for his role.
“The makers of Godfather were keen to pay a handsome amount to Salman as they expect some footfalls in Hindi belts due to his presence. However, the actor was clear from the first day that he will be doing this film due to his love and respect for Chiranjeevi. He had put forth a clear condition – ‘I will do the film, only if you don’t pay me’.”

“Salman’s bond with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan goes beyond films. It was always expected that he would do it for free,” the source added.
Reportedly, Salman had also declined a whopping fee of Rs 50 crores for his cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan‘.
