SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR starring Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR and Ram Charan hit the silver screens on the 25th of March 2022.

RRR collected a whopping Rs 223 CRORE worldwide within only the first day of its release. Now, the film is reaching the 500 Crore mark globally!
An account on Instagram has also confirmed that RRR is the widest released Bollywood film ever in Russia! The film is currently being shown around 56 cities in the country.
Besides RRR, the Prabhas starrer Radhe-Shyam was also released in Russia. However, in light of recent events, many Hollywood filmmakers have banned the release of their movies in Russia. This includes big films like Warner Bros’ The Batman, Disney’s Turning Red and Paramount Pictures’s The Lost City. The upcoming Marvel film Morbius will not be released in Russia as well, as confirmed by Sony Pictures.
