The Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt wedding was supposed to happen on April 14, 2022.
But, even though preparations for the festivities are on – with houses being lit up and outfits being delivered, Alia’s brother Rahul Bhatt has something else to say.
“The wedding is happening, it is known to all. But there is no wedding on April 13 or 14. That is a sure thing. Actually, the dates earlier were the same, but after the information was leaked to the media, the dates were changed. Everything has been changed because there’s a lot of pressure. I give my word that there’s no wedding on April 13 or 14. As far as I know, there will be an announcement regarding the date soon,” Rahul had commented.

The brother further said it could happen by April 20. Moreover, the wedding guests will merely be 28 in number! Both RK studios and the Vastu building have been lit up and decorated.
Sabyasachi outfits were also spotted being delivered. Alia will allegedly wear a pink Sabyasachi lehenga completed by a customised dupatta designed by Manish Malhotra for her wedding day.
A grand reception will be hosted at Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. The date, earlier quoted to be April 17, is bound to change now if the wedding date has been postponed.
