83 actor Tahir Raj Bhasin is celebrating his 35th birthday today (April 21) and we wish him the best.
As per a report, the birthday boy’s Net Worth as of 2022 is said to be around $10 million, i.e. Rs 76.15 CRORES!
From making his debut as an ‘anti-hero’ in YRF’s ‘Mardaani’ to creating a mark with his acting in films like ‘Chhichhore’ and ’83’ to having 3 releases last year… it wasn’t always that easy for Tahir.
Did you know he was rejected around 250 times in auditions before he bagged ‘Mardaani’? Last year, during an interview with RJ-host Siddharth Kannan, he had talked about how he came to Bombay thinking he would land a Dharma or Yash Raj project in a week. But then, reality struck and he realized, “It takes you three months to find a house here, roles are another thing altogether.”
“Anything that’s worthwhile takes time and this is something I understood when I first came to Mumbai. I was rejected from some 250 auditions over 3 years before Mardaani but I used this as positive fuel and feedback. It meant I needed to grow and growth came from workshops and hours of practise.”

Despite the number of rejections, Tahir never lost hope. “Strength lay in getting hit and in the will to keep moving forward. Today’s world is all about that simple message. We have all been affected directly or indirectly by an unforeseen time and courage is to make ourselves better, fitter and stronger for the test of time to come,” he said.
“To be honest, I never saw my initial time in Mumbai as a struggling phase. It was an aspiring phase. I was visualising a dream and aspiring to make it real and it’s the hardship and journey that make the successes worth celebrating.”
