Prabhas‘s Adipurush budget will blow your mind.
Directed by Om Raut (Tanhaji fame), the magnum opus is reportedly a modern-day retelling of the Hindu epic – Ramayana.
Adipurush also features Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Sonal Chauhan in key roles.
Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram, Saif as Lankesh (Raavan), Kriti is Sita and Sunny essays the role of Laxman in this mythological film. Details of Sonal’s character are kept under wraps.
Adipurush Budget:
Touted to be the costliest Prabhas movie till date, Adipurush has been made on a massive budget and is high on VFX.
If this Pinkvilla report is to be believed, the budget of Adipurush is said to be a whopping amount of Rs 500 CRORES, excluding the budget allotted for print and publicity.
Confirming the same, producer Bhushan Kumar told the portal, “Adipurush is made on a budget of Rs 500 crore. For that film, we know that the opening will be giant with houseful board across. So, we will try to optimise the demand for the film by going ahead with blockbuster pricing. We know people will come to see it irrespective of pricing as it is a one-off it’s kind event cinema and there is only limited capacity. So, we would make sure, to go all out with this film.”
