Sushmita Sen starrer ‘Aarya’ series on Disney+Hotstar has been loved by critics and audiences alike.

But apparently, she was not the 1st choice for the iconic role. Read on to know who was –

In a recent interaction, Kajol confessed that she had been approached for the Ram Madhavani project. But she rejected the part owing to personal issues.

 “I was approached (for Aarya). I watched the show and I liked the script very much. But it didn’t work out for me personally at that time,” the Tanhaji actress revealed to HT.

When asked if she declined it due to date issues, Kajol replied – “There were other reasons for it.”.

Aarya Season 3 is in the making currently. Let’s wait and see what the future updates are.
