Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu seems to have landed in legal trouble.
Actor-producer Upasana Singh has sued Harnaaz for alleged ‘breach of contract’.

As per a report, Upasana Singh, who played Kapil Sharma’s bua (aunt) in Comedy Nights With Kapil, recently filed a civil suit in against Harnaaz in the Chandigarh district court for the alleged breach of contract by her.
Harnaaz has been allegedly accused of breaking her agreement to promote the Punjabi movie, produced by Upasana, titled – Bai Ji Kuttange. Reportedly, Harnaaz was set to make her debut with this film.
“My contract with Harnaaz is before she became Miss Universe. I gave her a chance when she was a struggling newcomer. She used to stay with us in Mumbai. I have groomed her, taught her acting. She was just like my kid, and she used to call me her godmother. I threw a party when she won the international pageant. But she broke her ties with us after getting international recognition.”

Talking to The Indian Express, the 47-year-old added stated –
“I sent her a notice that if she doesn’t give me dates, I will file a case because I lost my distributor in this case because the earlier distributors knew that Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is there in this film. Other people were supposed to invest in my film, not me. Today, I have a loan of Rs 1 crore 60 lakh to release this film only because of Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu as people stepped back because she did. My film got delayed and I have its interest. So many posters, so much publicity had happened earlier, everything went to waste.”
Meanwhile, Harnaaz is yet to react to Upasana Singh’s allegations.
