Emraan Hashmi will next be seen in Karan Johar‘s upcoming production venture – Selfiee.
Now, we hear that Emraan & KJo are set to collaborate again for an exciting project.
If this Peeping Moon report is to be believed, Emraan Hashmi will headline Disney+ Hotstar‘s upcoming suspenseful family drama series, which will be produced by Karan’s digital content arm, Dharmatic Entertainment.
Tentatively titled Blockbuster, Emraan is expected to play the role of a business tycoon. Reportedly, the series will be jointly directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar.
“Dharmatic Entertainment’s this new series marks its first association with Disney+Hotstar. It’s a suspenseful family drama series and features an ensemble cast alongside Emraan. The show will go on floors towards the end of the year in Mumbai,”
– a source informed the portal.
For the unversed, the 43-year-old actor made his OTT debut with Netflix’s Bard of Blood in 2019. The thriller series was bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan‘s Red Chillies Entertainment.
