Vijay Deverakonda’s pan-Indian project Liger failed to impress at the box office.
Vijay was going to reunite with Liger director Puri Jagannadh for another film – Jana Gana Mana. However, we hear this project is shelved now.
Film journalist Rahul Raut reported that – “Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s Pan-India military actioner #JanaGanaMana has officially been put on the backburner after #Liger debacle… The makers hope to revive this project later when financial circumstances are better.”
The patriotic film was supposed to feature Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Initially, Mahesh Babu and Yash were approached for JGM but it didn’t materialize. Let’s see if the film sees the light of the day at a later date with Vijay in the lead.
