Kartik Aaryan’s next – Aashiqui 3 has been garnering a lot of buzz lately.
Recently, rumours had gone rife that Jennifer Winget was to be paired opposite Kartik. However, the makers gave an official statement – that they were still searching.
“We are eagerly awaiting to finalise the female lead of the film and would love to share it with the fans as early as possible.” – said the T-Series spokesperson.
Now, rumours has it that 3 top actresses are being considered for the female lead role. As per a Pinkvilla report, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Shraddha Kapoor are allegedly in the running for Aashiqui 3.
“It’s slated to go on floors in 2023 and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to have a formidable cast in place. All the permutation and combinations need to fall in place before a formal announcement is made. By year end, the female lead of Aashiqui 3 is expected to be locked,” the source told the portal.
Aashiqui 3 will be directed by Anurag Basu with music by Pritam. Apart from being a part of this iconic franchise, Kartik also has Shehzada, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Freddy and Captain India in his upcoming line-up.
