Brahmastra Movie Caused Rs 800-CRORE LOSS To PVR? CEO RUBBISHES Reports As FALSE!

Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt-starrer much-awaited movie Brahmastra is a visual delight.

Released in September 9, the Ayan Mukerji directorial opened to a whopping box office collection of Rs 75 crores.

Amidst the blockbuster response, rumours are rife that Brahmastra’s mixed reviews have allegedly caused India’s largest theater chains PVR and Inox losing over Rs 800 crores in market capitalization.

Now, PVR CEO Kamal Gianchandani has finally reacted to the ongoing reports. Dismissing the rumours, Kamal took to Twitter and stated that the reports are “false” and “negative”.

In a series of tweets, he said that Brahmastra has done phenomenal business across the theatre chain, collecting Rs 8.18 crores (net) on the first day itself. He also compared its performance to that of films such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, RRR, KGF 2 and others.

Gianchandani also stated that Brahmastra has been doing exceptionally well in the PVR theatres and the audience seems to be enjoying the film.
