Brahmastra recently crossed 360 crores globally at the box office.
Brahmastra Part Two: Dev was also announced and director Ayan Mukerji has dived into the making of the sequel already allegedly.
Dev and Amrita seem to be pivotal characters in the next instalment. Deepika Padukone appears to be playing Amrita (a brief glimpse of her face was shown in part 1).
However, Dev’s face was completely hidden and his role is up for speculation. Ranveer Singh is the fanbase’s top contender for the part. Recently, rumours went viral that Choreographer Punit Pathak shot for the climax sequence as Dev!
However, Punit nipped the rumours in the bud by clarifying that it WASN’T HIM at all.
“No no no, I have not shot it. It is not true, it is not right. I am not Dev in Brahmastra,” Punit told the media.
Ayan had previously said he would announce who Dev was when the time was right.
