Tabu‘s much-awaited spy-thriller Khufiya teaser was dropped recently.

Khufiya, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, also stars Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles.
The movie reportedly revolves around the story of a RAW operative Krishna Mehra (played by Tabu), who is tasked with a crucial mission of national importance that leaves her struggling between her dual identity as a spy and a lover.

Announced at the Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event, Khufiya is based on Amar Bhushan‘s espionage novel Escape to Nowhere.
The film’s official synopsis reads: “Krishna Mehra (Tabu) is an operative at the Research & Analysis Wing. She is assigned to track down the mole selling India’s defense secrets, while grappling with her dual identity as a spy and lover.”
