Popular TV actress Vaishali Takkar died by suicide on Sunday morning (October 16) at her home in Indore.
According to ANI, 29-year-old Vaishali’s body was allegedly found hanging at her residence along with a suicide note.
During the preliminary investigation conducted by police, ACP Motiur Rahaman said that Vaishali, in the suicide note, claimed that she was stressed and was being harassed by her former boyfriend.
As per reports, Vaishali got engaged to Kenya-based dentist Dr Abhinandan Singh in April last year. She shared the news on Instagram with her friends and fans. However, a month later, she revealed that the couple had cancelled their wedding.
Vaishali had been living with her father and brother in her hometown Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Vaishali started her acting career with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain. She had also appeared in popular daily soaps like Yeh Vaada Raha, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Vrinda and Sasural Simar Ka. She was last seen in Rakshabandhan opposite Nishant Malkani.
