Jacqueline Fernandez had gotten interim bail in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar case.
Fernandez arrived today at Delhi’s Patiala House for her bail plea in the ₹200 crore extortion scam.
She had been named accused in the case and as per her previous statement had admitted to receiving multiple gifts worth crores from the conman. Like 3 bags from Gucci, Chanel, and 2 Gucci gym outfits, Louis Vuitton shoes, 2 Hermes bracelets, as well as a Mini Cooper. She had returned the car.
Her bail plea said she had been ‘misled’ into accepting the gifts and that she had no knowledge that the gifts were from ‘proceeds of crime’!
As per the latest updates, Jacqueline’s bail plea has been extended till 10th November 2022.
