Ranveer Singh is on a roll!
The actor will soon collaborate with popular director S. Shankar (Robot fame) for his next. And, no, it’s NOT Anniyan remake.
As per reports, Ranveer Singh & Shankar are all set to team up for big-budget movie. Touted to India’s biggest Pan India cinematic event after Bahubali, the yet-to-be-titled will be a 3-part film.
If this Pinkvilla report is to be believed, the movie is based on the iconic Epic novel – Velpari, which is also considered to be a part of Tamil Literature.
Reportedly, the movie in question is expected to go on floors by July 2023.
“Ranveer and Shankar are kicked about their first collaboration and plan to make a spectacle for the global audience. While the discussions are going on at regular intervals, the film will get into the full-fledged production stage around June or July 2023.”
– a source informed the portal.
For the unaware, Ranveer & Shankar were previously supposed to collaborate for the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil psychological action thriller movie Anniyan. However, that movie is no longer happening.
On the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.
