Actor Manoj Bajpayee‘s mother Geeta Devi has passed away at the age of 80 after prolonged illness.
Reportedly, she breathed her last on Thursday (December 8) at 8.30 AM.
According to ETimes, Geeta Devi had not been doing well for the past 20 days and was undergoing treatment for a week in Delhi’s Pushpanjali Medical Centre and Max Superspeciality Hospital.
Confirming the death, Bajpayee‘s spokesperson told The Indian Express –
“Sir’s mother was admitted to a hospital in Delhi for over a week, she passed away this morning.”
Geeta Devi is survived by her three sons and three daughters.
Last year, the 3-time National Award-winning actor lost his father RK Bajpayee in Delhi. He was 83 years old.
