Cirkus opened with a collection of 6.5 crores allegedly. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s report, the business from national chains like PVR, Inox and Cinepolis which was 3.16 crores, contributed to 50% of the collection.
Though there is a lack of a major Bollywood release, Cirkus is facing stiff competition from Avatar 2. The entertainer has been receiving flak for its OTT acting and underwhelming comedy.
