It’s raining remakes in Bollywood.
As per latest buzz, Ranveer Singh & THIS actress are in talks to headline Tezaab remake.
Back in 2021, Kabir Singh producer Murad Khedani had acquired the rights of Tezaab to remake the movie under his production banner Cine1 Studios.
Previously, it was reported that Kartik Aaryan & Shraddha Kapoor were being considered for the lead pair.

Now, if this Bollywood Hungama report is to be believed, Ranveer Singh & Janhvi Kapoor have been approached to play the lead pair in the remake of Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit starrer 1988 blockbuster Tezaab.
“Kartik and Shraddha were the front runners for the film. However, due to certain reason the makers have now decided on approaching Janhvi Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for the same roles. Initially, the makers of the Tezaab remake had approached Ranveer first, and instead of Shraddha, they want Janhvi in the movie.”
– a source informed the portal.
“Initially the plan was to rope in Shraddha Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan. However, Murad Khetani and team have now decided to approach Janhvi and Ranveer for the project,” the source added.
However, there is no official confirmation on the final cast of Tezaab remake yet.
