Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are all set to entertain us with their upcoming movie Pathaan.
However, they are facing a major backlash for their song Besharam Rang and it is believed that the song will not be screened in several states.
Several political groups and citizens have criticized the song for making Deepika Padukone wear a saffron color swimsuit. As per reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) cleared Besharam Rang without editing out the swimsuit scene, the makers of Pathaan are said to be planning to remove the song completely from the film for a few states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh.
It is also stated that the makers of Pathaan recently had a meeting with Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Mumbai and explained to him that they had no intention to hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community by choosing a saffron color swimsuit.
It is highly likely that Pathaan will get two versions where one will be with the song and one without for the smaller states.
