The romantic musical is directed by Anurag Kashyap and marks the debut of Karan Mehta alongside Freddy actress Alaya F. Amit Trivedi is the music composer of the film.
Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat has parallel love stories (both headlined by Alaya and Karan in dual roles). In one of the love stories – Alaya plays a small town-girl student called Amrita who’s smitten with DJ Mohabbat. Yaqub (Karan) promises to help her meet him.
On the other hand, in London, party girl Ayesha (Alaya) is also taken in by DJ Mohabbat (Karan).
