Designer- Actor Masaba Gupta and Lawyer-Actor Satyadeep Misra got married today (27 January)!
The wedding was an intimate and private affair with immediate family. For the unversed, Masaba is Badhaai Ho actor Neena Gupta’s daughter.
Masaba wore a custom-made Rani Core lehenga of House of Masaba with her mom’s jewellery, while Satyadeep sported a House of Masaba Barfi pink kurta and Pajama set with a bandi.
Who Is Satyadeep Misra?
Satyadeep Misra has starred in Bollywood projects like Phobia, Kaali Khuhi and Vikram Vedha. Masaba played herself in the Netflix series Masaba Masaba and has also acted in Modern Love: Mumbai.
They Had A COURT MARRIAGE –
Talking about her wedding, Masaba revealed –
“We had a simple court marriage. The idea was to keep it very small and in the presence of our immediate family. We wanted it to be very intimate because we felt that that was the right thing to do and we will not be celebrating in a big way going forward. However, there will be a party with close friends and family about 80–85 people who’ve had a meaningful relationship with Satyadeep and me.”
How Did Masaba-Satydeep Meet?
Masaba met her husband on the sets of Masaba Masaba. He was a lawyer for a decade before venturing into being an actor.
“He was playing my ex-husband’s character in season 1. I think we just connected on the fact that we could have conversations; we both love comfort, peace, and a healthy lifestyle. It’s been a big change in my life where I’ve started eating better, and I think a big part of my fitness journey has kicked off because of him. We both like simple things–coming home to each other and just talking about nothing; watching something completely ridiculous; and having a good laugh,” Masaba commented.
