Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer Shaakuntalam movie gets a new release date.
Earlier, the film was supposed to hit theatres on 17 February 2023.

Written and directed by Gunasekhar, the epic love story – Shaakuntalam – stars Samantha & Dev Mohan in the lead.
Based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam’, Shaakuntalam revolves around the epic love story of Shakuntala (played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu) and King Dushyant (played by Dev Mohan) from Mahabharata.
On Friday, without revealing the exact reason behind postponing the film, the makers unveiled a new poster with a release date.
Set in the Kashyapa Kanumalu (Kashmir), the movie will release in 5 languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
