Shahid Kapoor is riding high on success after receiving rave reviews for his performance in his debut series Farzi.
Directed by Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK (The Family Man fame), the Amazon Prime Video series is apparently set for a sequel.
Farzi also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Amol Palekar, Bhuvan Arora amongst others in pivotal roles.
Now, if this Pinkvilla report is to be believed, the makers have already started working on Farzi 2, thanks to the huge success to Farzi. Reportedly, Raj & DK have locked the idea of the season 2 and will start working on the script after completing Citadel and The Family Man 3.
“Raj and DK have an idea on how they want the story of season 2 to progress, and will start writing the script soon. They are excited about season 2, and plan to mount it on a larger scale. It will take the story forward from where they have left in season one. For now, Raj and DK are focussing on Citadel, which will be followed by Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man 3, and then they will start with the shoot of Farzi 2.”

The action-thriller series revolves around the cat-and-mouse race between Sunny (Shahid) a brilliant small-time artist and Michael (Sethupathi), a fiery and unorthodox task force officer.
Sunny is catapulted into the high-stakes world of counterfeiting when he creates the perfect fake currency note, while Michael wants to rid the country of the counterfeiting menace.
