Actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik’s sudden demise at the age of 66 has shocked the nation. The actor was survived by his wife and a 10-year-old daughter.
However, did you know that Satish Kaushik has lost a 2-year-old son?
The actor who made everyone laugh did not have it all easy for himself. Satish Kaushik got married to Shashi Kaushik in 1985 and welcomed their first child named Shanu however, but at the age of 2 in 1996, Shanu passed away.
After the death of Shanu, Satish took a while to recover from the grief and he longed to become a father again. It was after 16 years of his son’s demise that Satish became a father to a daughter that they had via surrogacy in 2012. He was 56 years old when he welcomed his daughter Vanshika.
Last year on the 10th birthday of his daughter, Satish wrote, “Vanshika my dearest daughter wishing u a Happy Birthday . U are 10 now and in these ten years u hv given us happiness calmness and joy . Life was so empty before u arrived but ur arrival this day made us jestful meaningful and more energetic . May god bless u always . Lv“
