Satish Kaushik passed away on 8 March 2023 at the age of 66. He suffered a heart attack while travelling.
As per recent reports – it’s being said that Kaushik’s family will be skipping the chautha ceremony.
Apparently, they are all really simple folks and very uncomfortable with the media spotlight in these trying times.
“They can’t handle all this attention. They will therefore skip the Chautha. Instead they will be doing a puja ceremony every day until 20 March attended only by close family members. They say, that’s how Satish would have liked it to be,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher will be arranging a prayer meeting for the late actor on 21 March, where film industry people can come.
Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife Shashi and 10- year old daughter, Vanshika (born via surrogacy). May his soul rest in peace.
