Oscars 2023; Deepika Padukone MISIDENTIFIED As THIS Hollywood Actor’s WIFE?

Deepika Padukone was a sultry beauty at the Oscars 2023 – in a dramatic black Louis Vuitton gown, adorned with a statement Cartier diamond necklace.

She was one of the presenters at the prestigious awards and it was a proud moment for India indeed. However, some foreign media outlets misidentified her as the Brazilian model Camila Alves, causing quite an outrage among netizens.

Apart from being a top model and designer, Camila is married to Interstellar actor Matthew McConaughey.

Some agencies accidentally mixed her up with our global icon Deepika, which made her fans lash out, accusing them of racism and ignorance. The portals rectified their mistake later.
