For the unversed, Bheed has been in controversy lately for having compared the 1947 Partition and mass migration during the lockdown. While talking about the controversy, Bhumi said, “I think some films are way bigger than box office numbers. Firstly, one should not assume what the whole film would do. I think every film is made for a purpose and we are very proud of what Bheed stands for. It is about a time that everyone experienced globally.”
