Netflix is getting sued over an episode from The Big Bang Theory, for an allegedly offensive insult aimed at Madhuri Dixit.
As per reports, author-activist Mithun Vijay Kumar sent a notice to the OTT giant, asking them to remove episode 1 from Season 2 for the derogatory remarks.

The scene in question is between Sheldon and Raj. Sheldon calls Aishwarya Rai a poor man’s Madhuri Dixit. To which an enraged Raj replies that- Aishwarya Rai is a goddess and by comparison, Madhuri Dixit is a leprous pr*stitute.
Mithun Vijay Kumar said that such an offensive and derogatory remark promotes sexism and misogyny. He stated that he will be pursuing further legal action if Netflix failed to remove the marked episode.
