John Abraham’s role as the antagonist in Pathaan was quite a badass one..
And looks like John wants to keep up the ‘action image’ for now and has even backed out of some ‘comedy films’.
As per Pinkvilla report, John has walked out of Sajid Khan’s film 100%. He was also in the running for Awara Pagal Deewana 2, but even that comedy project is on the back burner for him now. Moreover, there are talks about a spin-off of his Jim character.
“The hunt is on and we would have an update on a film or two from John in a month’s time in this space. It’s also work in progress for a spin off to his character of Jim and mostly, the film will go into production in the next two years. Yash Raj Films and John have discussed this idea and believe the character has enough potential to blow big,” a source told the portal.
Meanwhile, on the War 2 front – Ayan Mukerji will be directing Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan. Sharvari Wagh is also soon going to be a part of the YRF Spy Universe.
