Now, we hear that the actress has already locked her next movie.
If this report is to be believed, Rani is expected to headline choreographer-friend Vaibhavi Merchant’s directorial debut movie.
As the report further suggests, the movie in question is a small-budget project which will be backed by Rani’s husband Aditya Chopra-led Yash Raj Films.
“Yes, Rani Mukerji has decided on her next venture. It will be a small budget film produced by Yash Raj Films itself. Interestingly, the venture will be directed by Rani’s good friend Vaibhavi Merchant.”

The script, story and cast details are kept under wraps for now, report suggests. It is also said that Rani has a string of projects to choose from but they are yet to finalized by the actress.
