Rakhi Sawant’s brother Rakesh Sawant hit the headlines recently for some troubling news.
He was arrested by the Mumbai Police in a ‘cheque-bouncing’ case reportedly. The magistrate court in Andheri has sent Rakesh into judicial custody till 22nd May 2023.
For the unversed, Rakesh had been arrested in the same case 3 years back – when a businessman filed a complaint against him for cheque-bounce. He had been granted bail provided that he could pay back the bounced cheque amount to the complainant. However, since he failed to do so, he has been arrested yet again.
Talking about Rakhi – she was often in the news this year due to her troubled marriage with Adil Khan Durrani. She had accused him of infidelity, domestic violence and financial fraud. She is apparently going to divorce him soon.
