Directed by Oni Sen, Asur stars Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti in the lead. The cast also includes Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Vishesh Bansal, Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang, and Gaurav Arora.
The fascinating mix of forensic science and ancient Indian mythology strikes again. The brief 1st look teaser begins with a voiceover saying – ‘The world needs a new order’. Arshad’s character Dhananjay says, “Tujhe apne bhagwan ko jawaab dena hai, mujhe kisi ko nahi (You are answerable to your God, I am answerable to no one).”
The terrifying masked figure from S1 appears yet again. A mysterious person declares – “Mahayudh shuru ho chuka hai. Jiss duniya ko ap jante hai woh badal ne wali hai. Iss baar ap kuch bhi nai kar paoge! (The Great War has begun. The world you knew is going to change. This time you won’t be able to do anything.)”
While Barun Sobti’s character says – “Saalon pehle ek galti kari, aapko roka nahi. Ab wo galti nahi karunga. Is duniya ko ek aur Asur nahi chahiye (I will not repeat the mistake I did years ago by not stopping you. This world does not need another demon).”
