Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is set to make his directorial debut with a 6-episode web series titled Stardom.
The 25-year-old star kid has kicked off his maiden project with THIS actor in the lead role.

If this report is to be believed, Lakshya Lalwani has been roped in to play the lead in Aryan‘s debut series.
For the unversed, TV actor Lakshya Lalwani was set to make his Bollywood debut in Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2 with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor. However, the movie got shelved after Kartik’s exit and he was later offered Bedhadak with Shanaya Kapoor.
Reports suggest that Aryan went through some 800 auditions and Lakshya was made to undergo 6 to 8 rounds of auditions, including screen tests and in-person before bagging the role.
According to report, Stardom went on floors on Friday at a mill in Worli. Aryan was on sets much before the call time at 7 am and SRK also reportedly visited him on sets to wish him.
“The space will be the setting for a few office scenes. Another floor in the same building has been booked, where the team will shoot a lounge sequence in the next few days. The set, with a cast and crew of almost 350 people, was buzzing with energy.”

Stardom, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, is set the backdrop of the film industry and offers a fictionalised account of the industry. The series is expected to premiere on OTT next year.
