Karan Johar has a new show coming up on Disney+ Hotstar – Showtime.
As per reports, the series will allegedly revolve around nepotism in Bollywood – which is quite the raging hot topic!
When the series was announced back in September 2022, KJO had said that Showtime would ‘lift the curtain on India’s entertainment industry’s biggest trade secrets.’
Disney+ Hotstar‘s Head of Content Gaurav Banerjee had commented that KJO – who had received quite the backlash on the topic of nepotism – would tell the story of how everything fits in Bollywood.
Emraan Hashmi and Mahima Makwana are headlining this project as per the latest reports.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s next directorial – Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani releases in cinemas soon – 28 July 2023.
