Satyaprem Ki Katha 1st Weekend Box Office Collection Report –
The Kiara Advani-Kartik Aaryan starrer has been receiving positive word of mouth for sensitively handling certain tough topics.
It opened on Thursday (Eid Holiday) with a 9.25 crore collection. It dipped down to 7 crores on Friday but saw a boost on Saturday with a 10.10 crore figure. Sunday recorded the highest collection it has received so far – 12.15 crores!
Overall, the total for the first extended weekend of Satyaprem Ki Katha comes to 38.50 crores! Satyaprem Ki Katha is said to have been made on a 60-crore budget allegedly.
While Kiara has been receiving immense praise for her moving portrayal of the traumatized Katha, Satyaprem has been deemed as one of the most emotionally mature characters that Kartik has played.
