Shanaya Kapoor is set to make her South movie debut?
The 23-year-old star kid was supposed to make her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s Bedhadak.
While her Bolly debut film has been delayed, Shanaya is said to have already bagged her first pan-India movie.
If this report is to be believed, Shanaya – daughter of Sanjay Kapoor & Maheep Kapoor – will play a pivotal role in megastar Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Vrushabha.
Directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Ektaa Kapoor, the film is a period drama that revolves around a father-son relationship where Shanaya plays a dynamic role.
Talking about her role, a source informed the daily –
“The story is about a father and son relationship. Shanaya Kapoor has a very dynamic role in Vrushabha. This movie is a period film – it has a past and present. Shanaya plays a pivotal role in this film as she is the one who bridges the past and the present. The role is both glamourous and performance-oriented. This movie is a high-octane action drama.”
Vrushabha is likely to go on floors at the end of this month and will be released in 5 languages – Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
